After graduating from Ohio State University with an accounting degree, Chuck began his public accounting career in 1953 with Battelle & Battelle.

In 1970, he went out on his own to start our firm. Using the business philosophy of openness and honesty as a basis, he began the long history of high quality, client-oriented service that we work toward today.

Chuck believes that organizational skills are critical to success in the business world, and he advises all business owners to get organized and stay organized. “The world is so complex, it is easy to miss some important information,” he says.

Even though he officially retired in 1991, Chuck finds it hard to stay completely away from accounting and you will often find him in the office during tax season.
